This is the oldest and most famous of the famous Amaretto liqueurs: Amaretto Disaronno,

ORIGIN: Lombardy region, town of Saronno.

ALCOHOL DEGREE: 28°.
COMPOSITION: Sugar, alcohol, glucose, caramel, flavourings. Colouring : Caramel.
CHARACTERISTICS: Amber colour, caramel. Very lively scent of almonds on the nose. Very mild, sweet taste. Best served chilled.
Pairs well with: Drink as an aperitif or after-dinner drink, as the base for a cocktail or as a dessert liqueur. Amaretto is used in Tiramisu and many other Italian desserts. It's also an excellent complement to its namesake, Amaretti almond biscuits. Try it in a coffee or hot chocolate.
