The Ardennes, this ancient mountain range, a plateau of forests, meadows and valleys, takes its name from a forest, Arduenna Silva. It was in 54 BC that Julius Caesar described this forest massif as the largest in Gaul, using the expression Arduenna Silva. Arduo in Celtic means ‘height’, so Arduenna Silva translates as ‘wooded heights’.

Arduenna gin is the brainchild of Martin and François, two young epicureans and gin enthusiasts, who wanted to distil and bottle this beautiful region of the Ardennes.
