Almond wine, served by Sicilians to welcome important guests, has its origins in the early 20th century on the north-east coast of Sicily.
In keeping with our ‘Spirito Siciliano’ philosophy, we've breathed new life into this elixir with Sprezza, a unique aperitif that's both bitter and gourmet. Vinified and flavoured in Sicily, then matured in our Kingdom to honour our attachment to our two countries and achieve a level of quality recognised by specialists.

Sprezza expresses an exceptional combination: nero d'Avola for its velvety mouthfeel and intense red colour, and bitter almond for its delicate cherry flavour. Typical Sicilian herbs round off the delicious flavour and add freshness. The bitterness is delicately brought out by the gentian, giving it an incredibly long finish.
